The F8 was the end of a line. Ferrari's mid-engined twin-turbo V8 two-seater ran from the 458 through the 488 to this, and the 296 that followed moved to a V6 with a hybrid system attached. The Spider keeps a folding hardtop, so the car has two completely different profiles depending on where the roof is.
Roof down, the cabin stops being a closed shape and becomes a hole in the middle of the car - and indoors, that hole fills with whatever is on the ceiling. An open cockpit under a showroom lighting rig collects every fixture above it in the screen surrounds, the sills and the seat leather. Half the job is finding the one position where the car reads and the ceiling doesn't.
The rest of it is the engine cover. On an F8 the glass panel over the V8 is the only place the design invites you to look into the car from outside, and it sits at exactly the height a gimbal move passes over. The car is static in this film. The camera does all the moving.
